Field trip weir complex Driel

Join us in our next field trip to the weir complex Driel!

In this visit guided by Rijkswaterstaat, we will discover firsthand the key role that weirs play in Dutch river management, as well as the associated future challenges. It will be an inspiring discussion! Just as important, you will have the chance to meet fellow young professionals in the field of river studies, or to just catch up with those you last saw when the weather was… not so nice.

When and where

We will meet on Friday July 16th at 12PM at De Westerbouwing (6862VV Oosterbeek). We will start with a picnic-lunch, and then move to the weir complex for the visit and discussion. We will close with Friday afternoon drinks at kasteel Doorwerth.

Registration

The field trip is free of charge* and includes a picnic-lunch and drinks. Register by sending us an email at yncr@ncr-web.org by July 4th, letting us know if you have any dietary restrictions. Bear in mind that spots are limited.
