The NCR Summerschool is a biannual summerschool that focuses on essential background knowledge for the study and management of river systems. It is aimed at PhD candidates and young professionals from any nationality. The summerschool is in English and has lecturers from leading institutes, both from The Netherlands and other European countries. The first summerschool was held in 2023, hosted by University of Twente in Enschede.
Target audience
The target audience of the NCR Summer School is young professionals, including PhD students and postdocs who are working on river-related research projects. An informal interactive poster session with the participants’ PhD or other current research projects will be held on the first day of the Summer School. In this session, the participants will have the opportunity to discuss their projects with the Summer School participants and some of the lecturers.
