Wageningen University & Research is proud to host the NCR DAYS 2024 “Tomorrow’s Rivers” which will take place on February 28-29. The NCR DAYS provides a podium for young and established researchers and professionals to present their work on rivers.

Venue
The NCR DAYS 2024 will be held at Gaia, Wageningen University & Research campus.
Route and parking
Signs directing you to Wageningen Campus are placed along all major access roads to Wageningen. Once on the campus, follow the ‘P-route’ to car park P4. Here (and at all the other main car parks) you will find signs with directions to the various buildings on the campus. Gaia’s building number is 101.
Please note that parking availability is limited. Please be sure to account for this in your planning or consider public transport options.
Public transport
If you arrive at Amsterdam (Schiphol) Airport, you can take the train to Ede-Wageningen station. Trains with Nijmegen as final destination will stop at Ede-Wageningen. The train ride will take 1 hour. You can also plan your train journey from other departure stations online: http://www.ns.nl/en/
After arriving at Station Ede-Wageningen, you can take the bus (around 15 minutes) or taxi (± 30€) (around 15 minutes) to Wageningen. At the north side (right) of the station you will find the bus stops and taxis. The bus stop Campus/Atlas Wageningen is about 3 minutes from the conference venue.

Call for abstracts
We invite you to submit an abstract about your work. Abstracts with an academic and professional nature are welcome:
- Abstracts that focus on novel ideas, methods or data, describe original research or provide a review of existing results or techniques. New ideas may be tested or demonstrated on case studies.
- Abstracts that focus on discussing aspects, challenges and insights from practical application, that describe application of existing methods on challenging case studies and highlight knowledge gaps or directions for future research.
Please observe the following author instructions:
- The deadline for submission is January 6, 2024
- Abstracts must be submitted in Word format (*.docx) or PDF (*.pdf) format
- Abstracts must follow the prescribed template. Both Microsoft Word and LaTeX templates are available for download, see below.
- Abstracts have a maximum of 2 pages
- Abstracts must be submitted to the following e-mail address: ncrdays2024@wur.nl
- In the e-mail with your submission, please let us know your preferred session and presentation format (poster/oral). Note that we cannot guarantee placement according to your preferences.
