About this day
The RiverLab is a numerical experimental facility to work together on software and models for research related to river behavior and dynamics. It is not just a model development platform – It’s a community! The RiverLab will organize regular Bring Your Own Model (BYOM) Days. You will be able to work on your own model, but also to exchange knowledge and experiences. Each day up to 3 modellers will be able to demo their work and raise points for discussion. Each day will also include a brief presentation of theoretical background or practical tips and tricks. The afternoon will be dedicated to work on your own model, informal exchanges with other participants and modelling experts and sharing your model with the RiverLab community.
Who
For all river modellers (PhD students, master students, other researchers, consultants etc.). Take some time to introduce yourself and your research beforehand on the RiverLab forum. Pitch your work, and find out what others are doing.
What
The focus is on Delft3D FM, but also SOBEK 2/3 and Delft3D models are welcome (especially if you want to convert them to Delft3D FM).
Only one but: You do have to bring your own laptop (with your model).
