From 19 – 30 April 2021, EGU will be hosting vEGU21: Gather Online (#vEGU21), a fully virtual conference that aims at providing a similar experience to the annual General Assembly, normally held in Vienna. All sessions will be in the new EGU virtual PICO (vPICO) format, which offers the opportunity to address a truly worldwide and diverse audience.

Description
For all river, marine, glacial, volcanic and extra-terrestrial geomorphologists and sedimentologists, we would like to draw your attention to the EGU session that we organise on “Bedform morphodynamics on Earth and in extra-terrestrial environments: current understanding of a complex interplay”. We invite contributions regarding all aspects of bedform dynamics and sedimentary structures on Earth and in extra-terrestrial environments. The deadline for the receipt of abstracts is the 13th of January 2021, 13:00 CET.

Description
This session aims to bring together knowledge from multiple disciplines such as geomorphology, hydrology, ecology, social sciences and science policy to identify how deltas and estuaries change and what future societal challenges might arise along their shores. We particularly encourage early career researchers to submit to this session and welcome contributions from those working on estuary and delta management, future issues in estuaries and deltas, and process and system based science of estuaries and deltas.
